RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA IN PAY LEVEL-1 (ERSTWHILE GROUP-D) (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT) FOR THE YEAR 2022-2023

 Applications are invited from outstanding sportspersons, in the prescribed format from Indian citizens for Recruitment in post (Erstwhile Group-D) in Level-1 of VIIth CPC Pay Matrix in Integral Coach Factory against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2022-23, in the following games / events 

 Football, 

Hockey, 

Kabaddi, 

Cricket,

Body Building,

 Weight Lifting

Minimum Qualification

10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

      Age - 18-25 years as on 01.07.2023 

MINIMUM NORMS FOR RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSONS:

Represented the country in any of the Championships/Events: i) Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category),  ii) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category),  iii) South Asian Federations Games  (Senior Category),  iv) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). v) World University Games.                                                             (OR) At least 3rd Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category). (OR) Represented a State or Equivalent unit, with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships. In addition to the above, candidates possessing the undermentioned sports norms are also eligible to apply.   Represented the country in Champions Trophy (Hockey)  (OR) Atleast 3rd position in Youth/Junior National Championships. (OR) At least 3rd Position in National games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association. (OR) Atleast 3rd position in All India University Championships organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR) Participation in Senior/ U-23/ U-19 All India Senior Inter-Zonal Championship (Cricket)

Mark Distibution: 

Description		Maximum marks
For assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms	50 Marks
For game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation during Trials	40 Marks
Educational Qualification	10 Marks
TOTAL	100 Marks

 

Fee

i)      Fee of ₹ 500/- for all candidates, except the Fee concession categories mentioned at Sl.No (ii). ii)    Fee ₹ 250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes with a provision for refunding the same, duly deducting bank charges, if any, to those candidates appearing in the Trials. (Original Community / Relevant Certificates in the prescribed annexure should be provided at the time of document verification for fee exemption).
